Phase 2 - Feed the Hungry
The focus in this phase is to help improve food insecurity within our communities. Our research has shown that by effectively diverting food that would have been potentially wasted we can make drastic improvements towards the fight against hunger in the most cost effective way. The foods that are collected through our rescue efforts are distributed through our network of dedicated partner organizations daily. We choose our community partners based on their ability and willingness to help us distribute all rescued foods to families facing food insecurity in identified impoverished neighborhoods. Food resources that are not fit for human consumption, but can be safely served to our animal friends are diverted to our partner farms accordingly.
