The current state of our food system presents a fundamental absurdity: 35% of the food produced in the U.S. is wasted, while approximately 42 million Americans face hunger.
This broken system is what we aim to change.
At 4MyCiTy, we are at the forefront of this charge for transformation.
This is our food rescue and distribution program for food resources.
Individuals/families can pick up available food resources at our warehouse distribution Monday through Friday ( holiday hours vary ) from 10am to 6pm. It's on a first come first serve basis, no appointment is needed.
On various days we do in-home deliveries, for families registered in the program. This is on a case-by-case basis and families are notified via email when we are sending out our in-home deliveries and they can request it then. Food deliveries are not guaranteed to be daily but our warehouse distribution is.
This is our free composting program where households can sign up to utilize our compost bags to drop off their food scraps to our facility at no cost. If they live within a 10-mile radius of our facility, we will pick up their food scraps in our 4MyCiTy bags at no cost once a minimum of 5 bags are accumulated.
