Phase 1 - Source Reduction
In this phase, our focus is on collaborating with wholesalers and distributors to minimize the food waste generated during their daily operations. Through our food rescue operation, we partner with these major food distributors to collect and distribute what would otherwise become waste. We rescue both cooked and uncooked foods, and we also accept food scraps as part of our community composting initiative.
Businesses interested in reducing their environmental footprint can contact us for food waste audits and educational seminars for their staff. Our program primarily emphasizes healthy foods, which is why we cultivate strong relationships with produce distributors and the farming industry. This effort not only reduces waste but also promotes a healthier community by ensuring nutritious food reaches those in need.
