Our Core Programs
Food Rescue To Go! – Fighting Food Waste, Feeding Families
Food Rescue To Go! is 4MyCiTy’s core food recovery and distribution program, offering rescued surplus food directly to individuals and families in our community. We collect excess food from farms, wholesalers, and distributors and ensure it gets to those who need it—not to landfills.
Our warehouse distribution center is open Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM ( Closed from 1 PM to 2 Pm daily - holiday hours may vary). Food is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis—no appointment required. We also provide in-home deliveries on select days for registered families who need additional access support.
The food we provide includes a mix of shelf-stable items, fresh produce, and other grocery staples—helping stretch household budgets and reduce food insecurity, one visit at a time.

Compost On The Go! – Simple, Free, and Powered by Community
Compost On The Go! is 4MyCiTy’s free composting program that makes it easy for households to reduce food waste and contribute to a cleaner, greener community. We provide compostable collection bags, accessible drop-off at our facility, and free home pickup for residents within a 10-mile radius who collect five or more bags.
Using our on-site 24-hour composting technology, we turn food scraps into usable soil—supporting local gardens, greening projects, and sustainable product development. It’s fast, efficient, and rooted in community action.
By participating, residents play a direct role in reducing landfill waste, lowering emissions, and building a zero-waste future from the ground up.

4MyCiTyU! – Job Training & Mentorship Program
4MyCiTyU! is our paid job training and mentorship program designed for young adults ages 16–23 who are ready to build a better future—for themselves and their communities. Through hands-on experience in food rescue, composting, sustainable manufacturing, and community service, participants gain valuable skills, earn income, and take the lead in creating real change.
From logistics and operations to leadership and environmental education, 4MyCiTyU! empowers youth with the tools they need to succeed in the workforce—and in life. Graduates go on to employment with 4MyCiTy, partner organizations, or launch their own paths in the growing sustainability sector.

4MyCiTy Health Connect! – Wellness Where It’s Needed Most
4MyCiTy Health Connect! is our free, community-centered health initiative designed to meet people where they are—offering weekly on-site health screenings, wellness education, and support services for individuals and families in our program.
Focused on prevention, access, and equity, Health Connect bridges the gap for underserved communities by connecting participants to essential healthcare resources, enrollment assistance, and holistic wraparound support. Whether it’s checking blood pressure, learning about nutrition, or helping someone enroll in local coverage, we believe health is a right—not a privilege.
